Located at the starting point of Nguyen Huu Tho Boulevard intersecting with Doc Lap Street (Tuy Hoa City, Phu Yen Province), the Nghinh Phong Tower stands out with the unique beauty of a massive and exquisite architectural work. Not only is it a cultural symbol of the land of 'golden flowers on green grass,' but Nghinh Phong Tower also embodies the historical and heroic traditional values of the nation.


Inspired by the legend of 'The Dragon and the Fairy' and the beauty of the national scenic site Ganh Da Dia, the design concept for Nghinh Phong Tower Square was implemented in April 2019. The project consists of the main parts: a semi-circular square paved with granite stones covering a total area of 7,190 m². At the center is Nghinh Phong Tower, constructed from cylindrical stone blocks stacked on top of each other and divided into two distinct main clusters (each cluster consisting of 50 stone columns). The arrangement in this design concept corresponds to the detail of 50 children following mother Au Co to the mountains and 50 children following father Lac Long Quan to the sea. In addition to its uniquely designed architecture, the name Nghinh Phong also carries the meaning of "welcoming the wind," because when sea breezes pass through the gaps of the tower, they create sounds like a "symphony" with different distinctive melodies, captivating countless visitors who set foot in this beautiful land. Moreover, the name Nghinh Phong reflects the mindset of the people of Phu Yen, who wish for sustainable development, in harmony with nature, openly receiving the energy that the sea provides.
